The song denial reflects how Stella is constantly in denial when it comes to Blacnhe and Stanley. Each of them creates some type of issues about the other to make Stella see their flaws and how their no good for her. Throughout the entire play Stella remains in denial until towards the end where she finally comes to terms with Blanche's chaotic personality and sends her away to a mental institution. Although, she still has some but very few doubts about her relationship with Stanley she puts them all behind and stays by his side.

Forgotten reflects Stella relationship with Blanche, and how no matter what Stella does for her sister Blanche finds some way to make Stella feel guilty or low about herself. Its as if Blanche has forgotten how Stella has always had her back. And, it seems as though Stella has forgotten how Blanche acts. In the play, Blanche complains about everything and never seems to appreciative to all her sister has done. Finally, Stella reaches her breaking point and decides to do what is best for her.

So emotional, describes Stella and Stanley relationship, one minute their madly in love the next Stanley is upsetting Stella with his uncontrollable anger. Even though, they have their issues, Stanley and Stella grow intensely close with all the emotional moments in the play. This song also reflects when Blanche tells Stella that Stanley raped her, Stella goes from an extreme high full of happiness and then to an extreme low full of doubt and despair. Within each scene, emotional times affect everyone lives in the play.

This song tells the story of Stella's life during the time Blanche and Stanley go at each other. Being pregnant for most women is suppose to be the happiest moment filled with joy from family and friends, but for Stella her moment of pregnancy is filled with drama and aggravation. There seems not be a happy time at all when Blanche arrives. Stella is crying and nearly always upset about something that happen between her husband and sister. Stella can never catch a break and enjoy the moments of being a mother to be.

Fever is describes the intensifying heat that Stanley and Stella have deep in their souls for each other. They do argue, and Stanley does have a anger problem but you can tell that his angry excites Stella in an odd way. This song also describes Blanche antics she committed back in Laurel, Mississippi with her 17 year old student and other men. The fever both these sisters have is more alike then they probably know. Despite, their different lifestyles Stella and Blanche come from the same house hold and are more alike then they let on, this could be the reason why Stella left Mississippi in the first place.

This song was created to describe the love Alicia Keys has for her new born son and the love she has for her new husband. Which reflects Stella because even though after giving birth to her child there still is conflict in the house, Stella is still overjoyed about her new born child and having the family she has always wanted. With Blanche gone, the couple can start all over with their child, their new life. Blanche gone will definitely hurt still for sometime, but in the end she will move on because without Blanche her life moves on and she can focus on being a wife and new mother to the two important people in her life.
